A constant level of humidity acts as an invisible protective shield for valuable exhibits, historic paintings and sensitive archive materials. From 5 to 6 November 2026, MUTEC will be opening its doors again in Leipzig – and HygroMatik, as experts in professional humidification, will be there in person.
Come and visit us in Hall 4 at Stand D18 and discover how we help museums, exhibitions and cultural institutions create the perfect indoor climate for the preservation of cultural heritage.
Why is air humidification important in museums?
Museums house cultural artefacts and assets of inestimable value. Many exhibits are sensitive to fluctuations in temperature and humidity and therefore require a constant and controlled indoor climate. To prevent costly or even irreparable damage to exhibits, professional air humidification is essential.
At the same time, visitors and staff also benefit from optimal climate conditions. A comfortable indoor climate enhances well-being, aids concentration during guided tours and creates a healthy working environment. Furthermore, optimal humidity levels bind dust particles in the air, thereby reducing the need for cleaning.
