Water treatment.

Hygienic water treatment ensures significantly reduced maintenance intervals and a longer service life of air humidification systems and steam generators.


The reason is simple:

Ordinary tap water does not only consist of water and oxygen, but also contains minerals in addition to debris and other gases. During the heating (evaporation) of tap water, the water (H2O) is converted into carbonic acid in conjunction with the air content of carbon dioxide (CO2). The CO2 content in the mixture thereby decreases. However, the minerals contained in tap water require CO2 in order to remain in soluble form; otherwise, they are converted into a solid state whereby lime is formed.


The consequences: Down time of the humidification equipment, high maintenance and spare parts costs.
